The short version: Rombo doesn't know who you are or where you drive.
Your location
When you tap Start, the browser asks for your location. Rombo uses it on the car's screen, to work out your speed, and doesn't send it anywhere. There is no server behind the app: it all runs in the browser.
Your settings
Your choices, such as the engine, the volume and the theme, are saved in the browser's storage in the car, so they're still there next time. Clearing the browser's data removes them.
Settings → Diagnostics has an Export GPS trace button. It saves your recent GPS positions as a file on the device, and only when you press it.
Visit counts
The website counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal data and doesn't follow you from site to site: it tells me how many people open a page, not who they are. The app itself, at /app/, has no statistics at all.
No account, no cookies, no ads.
Hosting
The site is served by Netlify. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operations.
